Fluorescent Bulb Recycling
Fluorescent Bulbs are one of the largest commodities inside of commercial properties that need to be recycled. Unlike other equipment, Bulbs have only 1 way of recycling that includes a HEPA filter and a industrial barrels that go to a company those further processes them to take out the mercury. Our network of drop off locations and processors allow us to process on location as well as off location. We have discounts for large pick ups and commercial accounts who combine services.
Under 1000 bulbs: 8ft $2 per, 4ft $1.50 per

Bulbs & Lamps have been around for many years. Recycling them has always been a necessary yet expensive system. Mercury is a toxic cancer causing element that helps power many of the lamps in use today. Though there is only a small amount inside of the tubes it is best to not break them or throw them away. We offer a low cost service for the bulbs that can be done by iteself or with our other services. SAVE $$$ If you already have a service for E-recycling, Data Destrcution or Junk removal, you will only be charged for the tubes! This especially great for our commercial clients who want to do a spring clean up and need someone as a one stop shop. We can handle all labor Many companies are fearful of handling the fluorescent bulbs in case they break. We can assist with some of the needof putting bulbs in boxes. We can also offer an hrly rate service for taking the old bulbs out of their housing and if needed install as well. How do you recycle? AVA Recycling collects the bulbs and stores them till we have a load to fill a full truck. We then ship the Bulbs and Lamps to a facility to process mercury. Do you help with Recycling Events?
Recycling events are hosted throughout the year at Churches, Businesses, Governmental agencies and Multi housing buildings. Our events are efficient and we make sure we are there with you every step of the way. We are able to supply you with a trailer, boxes, a Van, or just come by at the end of the day for smaller events that need the pick up. What about my DATA?
We abide by federal regulations and private institutions for data security. We have the capacity for HIPAA compliancy if your organization needs it. We have a rigorous process of inspecting all collected items as well as random inspections on processes. We offer Hard Drive Destruction and ON-Site Hard Drive punching. Our paper shredding service is an off site program that works with in conjunction with one of the largest paper recycling plants in the area. Do we receive certificates and LEED Points? All non-residential clients will receive a certificate of proper recycling, service and data destruction. If a customer needs more information on the certificate additional a la carte services are provided. We issue certificates after a pick up is complete and has the client information as well as the scope of work our company does when it comes to recycling. If you are part of our Property Manager box program, then you will receive a special certificate that has the carbon emissions saved on it. This unique certificate helps you achieve greater LEED value for your tenants. |
About our Fuel efficient fleet
We are a unique company that uses not only trucks, but vans as well. The fuel efficient vans get the job done with 1/2 the fuel consumption as the big box trucks.Our fleet ranges from small vans to full size box trucks. We use our smallest vehicles daily but truck size is never an issue for larger pick ups. |
