Property Manager and LEED Services

Property managers are acutely aware of the need for greener buildings. We have boxes in many of the high rise buildings around the city, and suburbs and help generate LEED points for those who need it. We use a carbon Calculator that helps determine how much emissions were saved as a result of using our services. We offer boxes and on site services for all property manager recycling needs..

Recycling Events are a great value add a property manager can have for their customers. We service every aspect of the event and have many options to choose from. We can run the entire event or just come by at the end as if its a pick up for cost savings. You still get the same great service with all of the benefits of certifications and recycling procedures.

Leed points are valuable for property managers to attain better ratings on their buildings. By reporting the Carbon Emissions saved your building gets closer to achieving a greener building. Customer Service

AVA Recycling was a pioneer in the property box system. While many other companies just offered recycling, we decided to create a volume based business model for property boxes. The more boxes in buildings throughout the area, more time is saved so we are able to pass along the costs. We have been handling the recycling needs of property managers since we started and intend to only increase services to buildings throughout the area.

Due to limited space of buildings, we handle many of the pick ups on a short time schedule. We strive to keep the dock space as clean as possible. This is possible through our volume based model that has trucks out and servicing many buildings throughout the week.

  • 534 million tons of C&D debris were generated in the United States, in 2014—more than twice the amount of generated municipal solid waste.
  • Demolition represents more than 90 percent of total C&D debris generation, while construction represents less than 10 percent.
Prior to adding C&D materials to the Advancing SMM Report, EPA examined the generation of C&D materials through separate studies. EPA estimated that 136 million tons of building-related C&D materials were generated in the United States in 1996. By 2003, almost 170 million tons of building-related C&D materials were generated. In 2003, nonresidential sources accounted for 61 percent of that amount. The largest building sector that generated C&D materials was nonresidential demolition followed by the residential renovation.

Do you help with Recycling Events?
​Recycling events are hosted throughout the year at Churches, Businesses, Governmental agencies and Multi housing buildings. Our events are efficient and we make sure we are there with you every step of the way. We are able to supply you with a trailer, boxes, a Van, or just come by at the end of the day for smaller events that need the pick up.
What about my DATA?
We abide by federal regulations and private institutions for data security. We have the capacity for HIPAA compliancy if your organization needs it. We have a rigorous process of inspecting all collected items as well as random inspections on processes. We offer Hard Drive Destruction and ON-Site Hard Drive punching. Our paper shredding service is an off site program that works with in conjunction with one of the largest paper recycling plants in the area.
Do we receive certificates and LEED Points?
All non-residential clients will receive a certificate of proper recycling, service and data destruction. If a customer needs more information on the certificate additional a la carte services are provided. We issue certificates after a pick up is complete and has the client information as well as the scope of work our company does when it comes to recycling. If you are part of our Property Manager box program, then you will receive a special certificate that has the carbon emissions saved on it. This unique certificate helps you achieve greater LEED value for your tenants.
About our Fuel efficient fleet
We are a unique company that uses not only trucks, but vans as well. The fuel efficient vans get the job done with 1/2 the fuel consumption as the big box trucks.Our fleet ranges from small vans to full size box trucks. We use our smallest vehicles daily but truck size is never an issue for larger pick ups.
