Warrenville is a city in DuPage County, Illinois, United States. As of the 2010 census, the city had a total population of 13,140, which was estimated to have increased to 13,316 by July 2012.It is a part of the Chicago metropolitan area and the Illinois Technology and Research Corridor.
Demographics: As of the census of 2000, there were 13,363 people, 4,931 households, and 3,476 families residing in the city. The population density was 2,430.6 people per square mile (938.1/km²). There were 5,067 housing units at an average density of 921.6 per square mile (355.7/km²). The racial makeup of the city was 89.13% White, 2.39% African American, 0.29% Native American, 3.43% Asian, 0.04% Pacific Islander, 3.46% from other races, and 1.26% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 10.10% of the population. There were 4,931 households out of which 39.3% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 57.2% were married couples living together, 9.7% had a female householder with no husband present, and 29.5% were non-families. 23.6% of all households were made up of individuals and 4.0% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
